Adoption 101

Adoption 101 has been specifically designed to cater for people seeking accurate and up to date information about adoption in South Africa. The information session answers the following questions around the processes and procedures of adoption:

  1. Who can adopt
  2. How do we adopt
  3. What is the adoption process and how long does it take
  4. How do children become adoptable
  5. Who should adopt

We also take a look at who should adopt and personal motivations for adoption taking into account why adoption is necessary. A broad overview of the adoption landscape is given and there will be time for Q&A.

We invite anyone who is interested in adoption, whether as a prospective adoptive parent, a family member, a supporter or just someone who would like to know more, to attend.

Fee: R 250 per person or R 350 per couple.

2022 Sessions are complete – our next session will take place early in 2023.
